Mutualised procedure for university admission to the Schools of the joint Mines-Ponts competition and the ParisTech Schools

Recruitment is open, in the first and second years, to French and foreign university graduates, according to a procedure common to 14 French Engineering Schools:

École Polytechnique, Chimie ParisTech, ESPCI ParisTech, Institut d’Optique Graduate School, ENSAE ParisTech, École des Ponts ParisTech, ENSTA ParisTech, ISAE-SUPAERO, TELECOM ParisTech, Telecom Bretagne, Mines ParisTech, Mines Nancy, Mines Saint-Étienne, Arts & Métiers and ENAC.

Admission after a university degree: 5 places

Students with a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, mechanics, physics, engineering sciences, civil engineering or computer science can apply to enter the first year of the engineering programme. Selection is based on a dossier, written tests and an interview.

Admission after a first year of Master’s degree (M1): 5 places

Students who have completed a first year of a Master’s degree in mathematics, mechanics, physics, engineering sciences, civil engineering or computer science may apply to enter the second year of engineering training. Selection is based on a dossier, written tests and an interview.

Profile

Candidates must have validated their studies with at least a “Bien” mention and pass a series of written and oral tests.

Campus France

Mines Nancy offers 2 places per academic year to the best applications received via the “Études en France” platform (Campus France) for admission to the 1st or 2nd year of the ICM and GIM programmes.

This admission procedure is open to international students who have completed 3 or 4 years of higher education in the field of mathematics, mechanics, physics, engineering sciences, civil engineering or computer science and who can demonstrate excellent academic results.

The “Studies in France” procedure only concerns students residing in one of the following 41 countries:
