Mines Nancy’s Partnerships Department is pleased to announce the next Business Lunch “déjeuner entreprise”, taking place on September 24, 2026, from 12:15 to 1:45 PM, in Amphitheater 100. This not-to-be-missed event gives students the chance to explore, alongside a partner company, today’s major technological challenges and their impact on engineering careers — a friendly and informal session open to everyone, whether you’re already familiar with the topic or simply curious.

Topic of the next Business Lunch: “Generative AI: what technological and strategic dynamics?”

This new event will focus on a topic at the heart of current scientific and industrial affairs: generative artificial intelligence, its applications and its impact on society. It will be hosted by Olivier Sennot, Digital Innovation Officer at Docaposte (La Poste Group).

  • Overview of generative AI: technologies, global players and key metrics
  • Business applications (France, Europe, worldwide)
  • Introduction to physical AI and robotics
  • Implications for health, social issues and society
  • Technological dependence: can France and Europe reduce their vulnerability?

This lunch will be an opportunity for our students to explore developments in AI technologies, exchange views with an industry professional, and gain a better understanding of the engineer’s role in the face of these major transformations.

A format designed to discover, exchange and network Business Lunches are held once a month at Mines Nancy. Each session gives a partner company the opportunity to share its expertise on a specific topic. Over the course of 1.5 hours, students can:

  • deepen their knowledge of a technical or societal topic,
  • ask questions directly to an expert,
  • understand the implications for future engineers,
  • grow their professional network,
  • discover internship and job opportunities.

It’s also a great opportunity to grow your professional network and discover job and internship opportunities offered by our partner company.

Lunch is offered to all registered participants.
