Scientific Seminar on Raw Materials for Green and Digital Transition

This seminar is designed to help researchers strengthen their scientific publications, integrate sustainability aspects into their research, and develop more impactful scientific communication strategies. It will also explore how raw materials shape the future of green and digital technologies and how these topics can be effectively taught to the next generation of scientists and engineers.

HERawS Summer School on Critical Raw Materials and Sustainable Mining
- Date: June 30 – July 5, 2025
- Location: University of Belgrade, Serbia
- Who should participate: Master’s and PhD students in STEM, political sciences, social sciences, and related fields
The summer school will provide an in-depth exploration of critical raw materials and their role in sustainable technologies. Participants will engage in expert-led lectures, interdisciplinary group work, and field visits to mining sites. The program covers raw material sourcing challenges, circular economy solutions, biological reclamation, and responsible resource management strategies.
