From 24 to 28 November 2025, students from Ensad Nancy, ICN Business School, and Mines Nancy take part in Artem Insight, an original educational initiative that brings students together each year to work on real issues submitted by territorial stakeholders. The 2025 edition stands out with ten challenges, proposed by nine public and private organizations, directly linked to major societal, environmental, and digital transitions.
A Flagship Initiative of the Artem Alliance
Artem Insight invites students to combine the perspectives of artists, managers, and engineers to address transversal issues inspired by real situations encountered by partner organizations.
This year, the topics are structured around the six key themes of the Artem2030 project:
- sustainable materials and natural resources,
- arts, culture, and society,
- sustainable and responsible economy,
- information technologies and digitalization,
- environments and spatial planning,
- care and well-being.
Guided by an interdisciplinary teaching team, students have one week to analyze the challenge, explore innovative ideas, prototype solutions, and present their proposals.
A Key Moment for Project-Based Learning
Artem Insight is a major highlight of the academic year for students of the Artem Alliance. It enables them to:
- work on concrete and strategic real-world cases,
- collaborate with students from other disciplines,
- practice creativity, design thinking, and innovation methods,
- propose solutions useful to regional stakeholders.
The week concludes with a presentation of the projects to partners, faculty members, and students—a moment of exchange showcasing the richness of cross-disciplinary perspectives within the Artem Alliance.
A Shared Commitment to the Region and Its Transitions
Through these projects, the three schools of the Artem Alliance, together with their partners, reaffirm their commitment to:
- contributing to major ecological, technological, and social transitions,
- supporting organizations in their transformation,
- training creative, responsible engineers who are open to interdisciplinary dialogue.
