Located at the heart of Campus ARTEM, the Student Centre (Maison des Etudiants) is a friendly, unmissable place! Here students can support projects and become active contributors to the cultural life of the university. The Student Centre contributes to the emergence of new talents and encourages voluntary commitment.
Facilities for relaxation include a rest area, a reception room and concert hall and fully-equipped meeting rooms. Co-working spaces are available to student societies. Opening hours may vary from Monday to Friday.
Located near the Ecole des Mines, at the heart of Campus ARTEM, the CROUS university restaurant is the catering solution available to all students. This innovative new living and dining space serves the National School of Art and Design (ENSAD), the ICN Business School, Mines Nancy, ISAM-IAE and the Institut Jean Lamour. The staff are all catering professionals and offer complete, varied, balanced meals at the student rate of €3.25. Meals can be bought for consumption on site or for takeaway. On the ground floor, the self-service canteen offers an à la carte menu. The different lounge areas on this floor are designed for students to use as a co-working space. On the second floor, students can use the fitness room. This level also has a meeting room with space for 10 to 12 people. The catering centre is open Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
At the heart of Campus ARTEM, the library is a 25,000 m2 complex spread over two floors. The library is a cultural centre offering over 53,000 reference books in science, arts and management, with up to 500 seats. It is a hub for both leisure and research. You don’t have to be a member to read inside the building; you just need to be a student. However, you do have to join if you want to borrow books. Students can enjoy an exhibition and events space, a press area, eight modular rooms and a training room. Entry is free, as is on-site consultation of documents. The Campus ARTEM library is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Located a few minutes from the city centre, Mines Nancy is easy to reach. Mines Nancy is served by public transport. Tram line 1 towards Vandoeuvre CHU takes only 10 minutes from the city centre, from the Gare de Nancy stop to the Sergeant Blandan stop, located two minutes’ walk from Campus ARTEM. In addition, bus line 7, towards Houdemont Porte Sud, will drop you off at the Artem stop, in front of Campus ARTEM.
